I am a military wife, a somewhat crunchy twin mom, a freelance copywriter, and a drinker of coffee and lots of earl grey tea.
I recently moved from Guam to Massachusetts, and will attempt to acclimate to New England until the Air Force sees fit to send me and the hubster elsewhere.
I am a follower of Christ.
My favorite color is green or turquoise, depending on the day. I love books, high-end yarn and fiber, and excellent cheesecake. I speak Spanish rather badly. I like mountains and other high places.
When I grow up, I want to be a professional hitchhiker, and drag the husband and however many kids we end up with along the full length of the Appalachian Trail. Even if they’re still in diapers.
This blog is called “Ad Astra” because (1) I like Latin and (2) I aspire to the stars, even when I’m doing diaper laundry.
